Pakistan Army Kurram Operation: Pakistani Army has started a major military operation in Kurram area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It was told that following the orders of Pakistani Army Chief General Asim Munir, the army has been sent to Kurram area on a large scale with heavy weapons.
According to Pakistani media, Pakistan Army has also used artillery extensively to destroy the hideouts of terrorists. Let us tell you that Pakistani Army has launched a military operation in 4 villages of Kurram district, Bagan, Mandori, Chapri and Chapri Padav. At the same time, the road connecting Parachinar, which has become a battlefield between Shia and Sunni Muslims, has also been kept closed for the last 3 months.
Violence continues between Shia and Sunni Muslims
In fact, the period of heavy violence between Shia and Sunni Muslims is still going on in the Kurram area of Pakistan for the last several decades. Last year, on November 21, 2024, Sunni Muslims killed 45 Shia travelers. After this, fighting continued between the two groups for several days, in which about 140 people died.
After this, the government and army of Pakistan tried to bring about reconciliation between the two groups, however they failed in this. Let us tell you that both the groups have built many bunkers in these areas, from where they are also attacking the Pakistani Army and government people.
Pakistani army is raining cannon balls
Now Pakistani Army has become active to stop the ongoing war between Shia and Sunni groups in Kurram area. Pak Army has started a big military operation to vacate these areas. At the same time, a large number of people from this area have been sent to safe places and curfew has been imposed in the area. Earlier, there was also a major attack on a truck carrying aid material, in which 6 aid workers were killed and many people were abducted.
