The bomb exploded in Jamia Hakkania Madrasa on Friday, a day before Ramadan in Pakistan. At least 5 people died and 20 people were injured in this accident. The accident took place in Akora Khattak district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa state.
Local police officer Abdul Rashid said that the injured have been admitted to the hospital. He said that the police is investigating the case. So far no organization has taken responsibility for this attack.
Emergency has been imposed in all major hospitals in Peshawar after the incident. According to the Sama TV report, it seems to be a suicide bomb blast in the initial investigation. According to the IG of Khyber Pakhtun Khwa, the attack was carried out by targeting Maulana Hameedul Haq Haqqani. Whether or not he is left in the attack has not been known yet.
