pakistan pak army chief fear of social media, urged government to make strong laws for social media use

Pakistan Fear of Social Media: Pakistan’s army shows its eyes to everyone that it has no fear of anyone. But now the Pakistani Army Chief himself is feeling scared. Yes… Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir himself is afraid of the power of social media among the people of Pakistan. This fear in the Army Chief came to the fore in the meeting of Army Formation Commanders last week.

During this meeting of Pakistani Army, many military issues were discussed, in which social media and its news were discussed as a big issue. This has been disclosed in the information sent by ISPR to Pakistani media. The special thing in this information is that the Pakistani Army Chief has started showing fear of social media.

Appeal to Pakistani government to implement strict laws

The examples given during the meeting regarding fake news were very interesting. It was reported that during the visit of foreign delegations for the SCO conference in Islamabad, the army was called for security, which was deployed on the responsibility of security of major government buildings of Pakistan. The Army Chief did not like the publicity that came about this on social media. He not only expressed concern over this matter but also termed it as fake news propaganda.

Whereas the DM of Islamabad himself had written a letter to the army demanding deployment of the army. The Pakistani Army Chief is busy calling it as fake news. Not only this, the Army Chief has now appealed to the Shahbaz government to implement strict laws and rules to stop fake news and misuse of people’s freedom of expression. Also demanded to take strict action against those who spread fake news. This clearly shows how much the Pakistani Army Chief is afraid of people writing on social media.
