Leader of the Opposition in the Pakistani National Assembly Omar Ayub said, “We reject Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s offer to resume the talks.” He reiterated the party’s demands and said, “Our demands are absolutely clear. We demand the release of all political prisoners. “

Party boycotted talks on Imran Khan’s instructions

The talks between the Pakistani government and Imran Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) got stuck last week when the party got out of the talks on the instructions of its founder Imran Khan. Even the opposition did not participate in the fourth round meeting held on Tuesday (January 28).
