
Pakistan bomb blast: Jamia Hakkania, Pakistan occurred in a bomb blast, in which five people died and many others were injured. On Friday (28 February 2025) before the holy month of Ramadan, there was an explosion at a mosque in pro-Taliban in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of North-Western Pakistan.
According to a report by the news agency Associated Press, District Police Chief Abdul Rashid said that the blast took place in Akkora Khattak district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. He told that the officers are investigating this and at the same time the injured are being taken to the hospital. So far no organization has taken responsibility for this attack.
There are about 4,000 students in the premises where this explosion occurred within the Jamia Hakkania madrasa, who are given free food and education. According to the report of Pakistani Sama TV, KP IG Zulfikar Hameed said that according to preliminary investigation it seems to be a suicide explosion. He said that it seems that Maulana Hamidul Haq Haqqani was on target.
