
Pakistan train hijack: Islamabad -based (US Embassy) US Embassy has strongly condemned the Jaffer Express train hijack case on Wednesday (March 12, 2025). The US embassy said in a post on (x), “The Baloch Liberation Army has claimed that they have hijacked the Jafar Express train and the hostages have been kept in Kachhi, Balochistan. The US has put the Baloch Liberation Army in the list of terrorist organizations. The post said, ‘We express our deep sympathy and condolences to the victims and all the people affected by this horrific act.
‘We are standing with Pakistan’
The US embassy posted and said, ‘Pakistani people have the right to live a life free of violence and fear. The United States will remain a strong partner in Pakistan’s efforts to ensure the safety of all its citizens. We are standing in solidarity with Pakistan in this difficult time ‘.

The latest update in this case is that according to Pakistani news channel Don, Pakistani security forces have killed all the boys of BLA present in the train and it is being told that the work of evacuating the hostages is going on.
BLA had earlier given a 48-hour ultimatum to the Pakistan government and said that he is ready for the exchange of BLA prisoners but no statement has been revealed by the Government of Pakistan about talks with BLA yet.

The BLA hijacked the Jafar Express train going from Quetta to Peshawar in Balochistan on Tuesday. The news of train hajack in Pakistan created panic worldwide. There were about 450 passengers in the Jafar Express. The Baloch Liberation Army, who took responsibility for the train kidnapping, claimed that they released many women, children and the elderly.
