
Pakistan News: Baloch rebels in Noshki district of Balochistan have launched a major attack on Pakistani security forces. According to the report of Pakistani media outlet ARY News, at least four policemen have died in this attack.
According to officials, the firing incident took place in Garibabad area, where armed attackers surrounded the police patrol van and fired. Four security personnel were killed in this attack. The attackers escaped from the spot after carrying out the incident.
Balochistan Chief Minister condemns the attack
According to the report, the security forces reached the spot and sent the bodies to the local hospital. Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti strongly condemned the attack and expressed deep condolences on the death of innocent people. He termed the attack as a cowardly act and said that such efforts to disrupt peace and development process in Balochistan would never succeed. Bugti warned, “Those who kill innocent people will have to face serious consequences.”
This is the second major attack in Noshki recently. Earlier, the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) attacked the Pakistani Army convoy and blew up a bus full of soldiers. The rebels claimed to have killed 90 soldiers, although Pakistani officials confirmed only 7 soldiers.
