In a report published in Sports Tak quoting the Champions Trophy, it was told that Team India will not tour Pakistan for the tournament. The Pakistan Board has agreed that the Champions Trophy will be played under the hybrid model, in which Team India’s matches will be held in Dubai.

This is how Pakistan got its demand met

It was mentioned in all the media reports that came out earlier that the Pakistan Board will agree to the hybrid model for the Champions Trophy on the condition that they will also not tour India in the ICC events to be held after that. Now ICC has accepted this condition of PCB.

According to the condition of PCB, Pakistan team will not tour India in the T20 World Cup to be played in 2026. In the tournament, Pakistan team will play its league matches in Colombo. However, nothing was clarified about where the knockout matches of the tournament will be held.

Champions Trophy knockout matches will be held in Dubai

It was mentioned in the report that the semi-final and final matches of the Champions Trophy 2025 will be played in Dubai only. However, it was also told that if Team India does not reach the knockout of the tournament, then in this situation the semi-final and final matches will be held in Lahore and Rawalpindi. The schedule of Champions Trophy has not been revealed yet. Now only after the schedule comes, we will know which matches will be held where.
