The 18th edition of the Indian Premier League is going on in India, while the 10th season of PSL is being played in Pakistan. No matter how much the difference, but the people of Pakistan compare PSL with IPL, even tell PSL better than IPL. But former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Aamir made a mockery of Pakistan Super League with his statement.
33 -year -old Mohammad Aamir has retired from international cricket. He now plays league cricket. Aamir in his latest statement made it clear that he would give priority to the IPL. Let us tell you that Aamir’s wife Narjis Khatoon is a citizen of England. Aamir hopes that he will get citizenship of England, so that he will be able to open the doors of playing in his IPL.
If I get a chance, I will choose IPL- Mohammad Aamir
Talking to Geo News, Aamir said, “Tell me the truth, if I get a chance, I will play in a sure IPL. I am saying this openly. But if I do not get a chance in IPL then I will play in PSL. Next year I will have a chance to play IPL, if this happens then why not? I will play in IPL only?”
Mohammad Aamir feels that the IPL and Pakistan Super League will not be played in a window next year. This time PSL is being played in the IPL window, the result of which can be seen clearly on the PSL League. Aamir said, “I don’t think IPL and PSL will be in a window next year. This time it happened because the priority was the Champions Trophy.”
Aamir said, “If the PSL team signed me first, I cannot withdraw from the tournament as per the rule. But if I was selected for the IPL, it cannot even move away. Now it depends on which league I am selected first. If the IPL auction was first and I was selected then I cannot move and I will not play.”
