Some people vandalized a temple statue in Velocity area of Pratapgarh. Due to which there was anger among the people of the area. After the information, Kotwali police station reached the spot and controlled the situation through counselling. Atmosphere calm after installation of new statue

Kotwali police station officer Deepak Banjara said that the statue of Mataji situated on the platform at the entrance of Velocity area was broken by unknown people. Mahila Mandal member Kanta Devi told that earlier the statue of Bholenath was seated on the platform. The construction work of the temple was going on. Meanwhile, unknown people vandalized the statue. Local people accused land mafia of destroying the statue.
Police Station Officer Deepak Banjara said that many people are being interrogated in the case. Police have assured that strict legal action will be taken against the culprits.
