
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, appreciating the citizens of the state on Thursday for the fierce victory of ‘Mahayuti’ in the elections held in November, said that no alliance in the 288 -member Maharashtra Legislative Assembly had managed to win 230 seats earlier. ‘Mahayuti’ includes BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP.
Addressing the ‘Gratitude Sabha’ program in Nanded, Shinde praised the ‘Ladki Bahin Yojana’, which was started during his Chief Minister’s tenure, and said “brothers and sisters ensured that the opposition should be drowned in the election . ”
Referring to a large number of people joining his party, he said, “Shiv Sena does not belong to any one, it belongs to the workers. Balasaheb Thackeray always treated party workers as a partner. ”
He said that however, some people have started treating party workers like servants. Shinde often accuses former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. The Shiv Sena was partitioned in June 2022. The Deputy Chief Minister also said that he will ensure that Bal Thackeray Turmeric Research Center in Hingoli and other irrigation related projects at Marathwada region will ensure early.
