‘L2: Empuraan’ is a Much-Awaited Sequel to the 2019 Hit Film ‘Lucifer’. While ‘Lucifer’ did not make a significant impact beyond the south, the upcoming sequel is expected to have a wider record. In a conversation with Filmibeat, prithviraj was asked about potential casting choices for a Bollywood remake of lucifer. He Reveled that his personal pick for the protagonist would be shah rukh Khan, expressing his desire for shah rukh to play the role originally portrayed by mohanlal in the malayalam version. At the same time, he shared that his favorite Bollywood star is Amitabh Bachchan.
‘Lucifer’ was previous remade in Telugu as ‘Godfather’, Featuring Chiranjeevi.
According to Prithviraj, ‘L2: Empuraan’ will not alienate the hindi-speaking audience, as approximately 20-25 minutes of the film’s initial segments will feature. This will be consistent across all versions of the film, which is set to release on March 27. It is expected to competed to compte with salman Khan’s’ Sikandar ‘Sikandar’ at the bollywood box office.
