Purnia District Transport Officer gave information
The Bihar government is conducting a special investigation of the 15 -year -old vehicles. Purnia District Transport Officer Shankar Sharan Omi told in a conversation with News18 Local that challans have been cut without registration vehicles in the last few months and such vehicles are being monitored. He said that 15 -year -old vehicles can be registered again for 5 years.

He informed that for re -registration of 15 -year -old trains, vehicle owners will have to submit the paper with updated Honor Smart Book Card and Aadhaar card in the office or by booking online slots and verification of paper.
The capacity of the vehicle and fitness will be checked by the concerned MBI officer. After this, after a few days after filling the government fee, the documents bye post will be sent by the Bihar Transport Department. The registration of private vehicles is again for 5 years while commercial vehicles are for 1 year. Taxes are filled according to government fee at the time of registration charge.
