FIR registered against Rahul Gandhi
An FIR has been registered against Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on charges of heckling by BJP MPs. This FIR has been registered on the complaint of Bharatiya Janata Party. In the afternoon, BJP leaders had lodged a complaint against Rahul Gandhi at Sansad Marg police station. This FIR has been registered on the basis of this complaint.
Delhi Police has registered an FIR against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on the complaint of BJP in the case of injuries of BJP MPs. Police have only removed section 109 (attempt to murder) of BNS. All other sections are the same as given in the complaint. According to Delhi Police, BJP had filed a complaint against Rahul Gandhi under various sections, including 109 (attempt to murder), 115 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt), 117, 125, 131 and 351. Of these, 109 have been removed.
