Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reached Maharashtra today on Parbhani tour. There he met a family of one of the victims of the violence. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Cabinet Minister and BJP State President Chandrashekhar Bawankule fiercely targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He said that Rahul Gandhi is a gimmicky person, he has never worked in government and administration, hence he does not understand.
Cabinet Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule said, “Rahul has never even joined the government, in the position he is working in, no public leader does politics over such incidents. A public leader is one who helps the society in such a situation.” It is the job of a public leader to bring peace and bring the society out of this situation. Rahul Gandhi is not a public leader.
Rahul Gandhi wants to spoil the society: Bawankule
He further said, “He wants to spoil the society. He wants to do politics on such incidents. Had he heard Devendra Fadnavis’s statement in the Assembly, he would not have come here. Rahul Gandhi is a weak leader. He got a small success from lies. That’s why they came to Maharashtra to do the same work. There is no place for those doing such politics in Maharashtra and the country.”
Rahul Gandhi visited violence affected Parbhani
Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi visited violence-hit Parbhani in Maharashtra and met the family of Somnath Suryavanshi, one of the deceased. After the meeting he said, “I have met the families and also those who have been killed and those who have been assaulted. They showed me the post-mortem report, showed me videos, showed me photographs. This is 100 percent custodial murder. ..This youth has been killed because he is a Dalit and he was protecting the Constitution… I am not satisfied (with the action)… These people have been beaten and murdered here… This is not politics… this is a matter of justice … action should be initiated as soon as possible.”
