Three youths were injured in a road accident late night in Digod police station area of the district. One of which died. Akash’s father Girraj told that Kimnish (30), Narendra (40) and Akash (26) were returning from a relative’s engagement ceremony in Kacholia. At around 7 pm, a speeding car hit him near the garden between the canal and Umaidpura petrol pump in Digod on Kota Sheopur road. After the accident, all three fell down from the bike. There was a jam on the road. Pedestrians took care of the injured. Police reached the spot on information. All three were brought to Kota Hospital with the help of ambulance. Where Akash died during treatment. Akash was the eldest among two brothers and two sisters.
Digod police station head constable Kamal Singh said that the incident happened around 7 pm. A car going from Kota hit the bikers. Akash died in the accident. While Manish and Narendra are undergoing treatment in the hospital. Post mortem of the dead body is being conducted. Further action will be taken on the complaint of family members.
