Dr. Amit Upadhyay says that it is very important to take a good diet to avoid cancer. In which protein, fat, carbohydrate, fiber, water, vitamins and minerals should be present in sufficient quantity. Therefore, you should enrich your diet with nutrients. Vitamin food items should be included. This also strengthens immunity. Food items rich in vitamin C such as citrus fruits (oranges, sweet lemons and amla) act as antioxidants and are considered helpful in cancer prevention.

Broccoli and fiber-rich food items such as fruits and vegetables also play an important role. Nuts (such as walnuts and almonds), olive oil, ghee and mushrooms boost immunity. Include Omega-3 Rich Foods in Your Diet Foods rich in omega-3, such as fish oil, flax seeds and chia seeds, have anti-cancer properties. Apart from this, tomato is also considered effective against cancer.
