Ganj police station in-charge Mahavir Singh said that Ishwar Chandra Verma (67), resident of Vaishali Nagar, died under suspicious circumstances. The body has been kept in the hospital mortuary. The body will be handed over to the relatives after post-mortem is conducted by the medical board. Investigation is going on as to how the deceased died.
The police station officer said that according to the family members of the deceased, Ishwar Chand had gone to his farm house around 1:30. Leaving the welding man at the farm house, he came back in the car towards Faysagar. When he did not return till one and a half hour, he checked on the spot and found the car parked there. He was found dead inside the car.
Police arrived on information.
He was taken by car to a private hospital where he was declared dead. He was taken back to JLN Hospital and later the body was shifted to the mortuary. Burning marks were found on the body. The face is also black. The cause of death will be cleared by the medical board only after post-mortem.
As soon as information about the matter was received, CO Laxman Ram also reached the mortuary and took information about the incident. Ganj police station also visited the spot and inspected the spot. The car will also be checked by FSL.
