Thieves even entered inside a bank in Pali. They tried to break the wall of the cash vault kept in the bank but could not succeed. When the bank manager came to know about the incident in the morning, he reported it to the police station. The police is investigating the case.

The matter is of Sumerpur in Pali district. Bhavana, wife of Govind Rane, branch manager of Yukon Bank located here, reported to the police station on 9 December. In which it was told that on the night of December 8, thieves tried to steal from the bank. When the bank was opened, the passbook printer machine was found open. The printer was taken out and its parts were opened. Also the lock of the check drop box was missing. On going near the cash vault, attempts were also made to scratch the wall with some tool. The thieves also broke a shutter installed at the back. The mesh on the first floor in the server room lane was broken. The report said that the thieves could not succeed in stealing from the cash vault. Police registered the case and started investigation.
Gold worth lakhs stolen from bank lockers in Takhatgarh, no clue yet. On February 5, 2022, thieves cut the roof of Bank of Baroda in Takhatgarh of Pali district, broke the locks of 10 lockers and ran away after stealing jewelery worth about Rs 64 lakhs. It has been almost three years since this theft incident but till now the police has not been able to trace the thieves. People who kept jewelery worth lakhs of rupees in their locker are still sad. Some people had kept jewelery for their daughter’s wedding and some had kept their relative’s jewelery safe in the locker. Even today people are making rounds of banks and police stations in the hope of getting the jewellery.
