Robin Uthappa Arrest Warrant Provident Fund Case: An arrest warrant has been issued against former Indian cricket team batsman Robin Uthappa. Uthappa has been accused of scam in EPFO ​​i.e. Provident Fund. Former Indian batsman is accused of a scam of Rs 23 lakh.
According to the report of new agency IANS, Uthappa is accused of deducting ₹ 23 lakh from the salaries of the employees while managing Century Lifestyle Brand Private Limited, but did not deposit it in their provident fund.
According to The Hindu, the warrant was issued through PF Regional Commissioner Shadakshari Gopal Reddy, who has asked the Jurisdiction Pulakeshinagar Police in Karnataka to take necessary action. “The warrant executed on December 4 was returned after Mr Uthappa was not found at his Pulakeshinagar residence,” officials said. Uthappa reportedly lives in Dubai with his family.
According to reports, the incident is said to have taken place on 4th December. There has been no reaction from Uthappa’s side on this matter yet. Now it will be interesting to see what Uthappa says on this matter.
