The series against England will be the last ODI series for India before the Champions Trophy 2025, which will give the players a chance to practice the ODI format. The white ball series against England will start from January 22, in which the first 5-match T20 series will be played. Then the ODI series will start from 06 February. Let us tell you that Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have retired from T20 International, hence both can be seen playing only in ODIs, but now there is a crisis on that too.
In the report published on Sports Tak, a source was quoted as saying that the trio of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah will not be a part of the ODI series against England due to workload management. Apart from this, Bumrah will not be a part of the team in the T20 series also due to workload management. However, official updates regarding Rohit, Virat and Bumrah are yet to come.
Champions Trophy will start from 19th February
Let us tell you that the Champions Trophy will start from 19th February. On the other hand, Team India’s ODI series against England will end on 12 February. The Champions Trophy will be held under the hybrid model. Pakistan is hosting the tournament, but all the matches of Team India will be played in Dubai. If the Indian team reaches the knockout of the tournament, then the semi-finals and final will also be held in Dubai.
