At the same time, after withdrawing money after ATM Free Limit, more charge will have to be paid. Apart from this, now you will not be able to travel in sleeper and AC coaches on waiting tickets.
On the first date of every month, new prices of domestic and commercial gas cylinders are released, but this time the oil marketing company Indian Oil has not updated its website yet.

2. Withdrawing money from ATM became expensive
The Reserve Bank of India has revised the ATM withdrawal charge from today. After the free monthly limit is over, customers will now have to pay ₹ 23 per transaction at ATMs. Earlier, there was a charge of Rs 21 on per transaction. This fee was implemented in 2022.
- After the free limit, a charge of ₹ 23 will be charged on every cash withdrawal
- 5 free ATM transactions at your bank’s ATM every month
- 3 free transactions at other bank ATMs in metro cities
- 5 free transactions at other bank ATMs in non-metro cities
- No change in free transaction limit
- All banks in India implemented for savings account holders
Why has RBI raised ATM fees?
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has allowed banks to increase the ATM withdrawal charge to cover the rising costs. Over time, ATM’s maintenance, upgrading security systems and managing the operation have become more expensive.
3. Will not be able to travel in sleeper-AC coach on waiting tickets
According to the new rule of Indian Railways, passengers with waiting list tickets will no longer be allowed to travel in sleeper or AC coaches.
Passengers whose tickets are in the waiting list will now be able to travel only in general coaches. If a passenger is found traveling in AC or sleeper coach on waiting ticket, he will be fined. The aim of the new rules is to increase the convenience in the journey and reduce congestion in the coach.
Fines for violation:
- Fines for AC: ₹ 440
- Fines for sleeper: ₹ 250
In addition, you will have to pay the rent from the starting station of the train to the station where you are caught.
Revale said that tickets booked through IRCTC are automatically canceled if they are not confirmed. But people use the ticket booked from the counter to board the train. This causes inconvenience to passengers with confirmed tickets.
Another rule, which is implemented from May 1, 2025, is that every train ticket to be booked from IRCTC website or app will require OTP-based mobile verification. The purpose of this remedy is to increase security and prevent the misuse of the booking system.
