Russian President Vladimir Putin thanked him for his efforts to get a peace agreement with Ukraine on behalf of US President Donald Trump. Vladimir Putin said that Russia is ready for ceasefire. However, he also put a condition regarding the ceasefire. He said that we are ready for ceasefire, but it should be long -term peace.
Putin said after a conversation with Belarus President Alexander Luakshhenko that Russia we agree with the proposals to end enmity. He said that we are in favor of peace for a long time. The ceasefire will bring permanent peace. Putin said that thanks to Trump for focusing on war solutions.
US National Security Advisor Mike Walts arrived on Thursday (March 13, 2025) on his visit to Russia. During this, he met Putin’s senior aide Yuri Ushakov.
