
Russian Navy in British Sea Region , A Russian spy ship arrived in British waters. To scare it, the British Royal Navy showed its power and took its nuclear submarine out of the water. Due to which the Russian ship had to return. Britain’s Defense Minister John Healy informed about this incident on Monday (January 20). He warned Russian President Vladimir Putin and said, “We are watching you. “We know what you’re doing?”
It is noteworthy that this Russian spy ship is known as Yantar. Which has been seen in the British maritime area for the second time in the last few months. According to reports, an important undersea cable is installed just beneath the area of British waters where this Russian ship was located. In the last few months, many incidents of cutting of cables present in the depths of the sea have come to light.
After these incidents, there is increased concern that Russia may do this to spread chaos in Europe. Therefore, Britain is playing its role along with NATO allies to face any such threat.
Defense Minister gave information in British Parliament
British Defense Minister Joel Healey informed the British Parliament about the Russian spy ship’s arrival again in British waters. He said that the Russian ship had come to British waters to gather intelligence.

British submarine had its eye on the Russian ship
There was no one anywhere in the British waters where the Russian ship was stationed. In such a situation, the Russian ship was moving ahead without any worry. But the Russian Navy had no idea that a British Astute class hunter killer submarine was keeping an eye on their every move. However, the British Navy did not reveal the name of the submarine. But this nuclear submarine was equipped with Spearfish torpedoes and Tomahawk cruise missiles.
According to reports, the captain of the British submarine contacted the Russian ship and said that he had been caught while spying. At the same time, the Defense Ministry said, “Following a warning from the Royal Navy in November 2024, the Russian spy ship Yantar left British territorial waters and headed towards the Mediterranean Sea.”
