A small cub was seen with a female tiger in Bundi’s Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve area on Friday. As soon as RVT-3 was seen with a small cub in the camera trap, vigil has been increased in the entire reserve area. Officials associated with the sanctuary confirmed the presence of the cub.

There were speculations about RVT-3, which was roaming at the same place in Ramgarh Sanctuary for many days, but the birth of the cub could not be confirmed. When the video of the tigress surfaced on Friday, the residents of the district including the employees of Ramgarh Reserve Area expressed happiness. Recently, after the death of the female tiger, questions were being raised regarding the maintenance of the tiger.
Were monitoring with 25 cameras Sanjeev Sharma, forest conservator of Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve area, said that RVT 3 was roaming in the same area for the last few months. Keeping vigilance regarding this, it was being monitored through 25 camera traps. When the camera trap was checked on Friday, there was no limit to the happiness when a female tiger was seen with a small cub. As a precautionary measure, strict arrangements have been made for the safety of the female tiger and the cub. These days the movement of the female tiger is visible around Bhairupura outpost.
The female tiger had shifted 16 months ago RVT 3, seen with the little cub, was shifted from Ranthambore Tiger Reserve area to Ramgarh in August 2023. The age of the female tiger is said to be five years. After shifting to Ramgarh, its movement remained around Guman Bawadi, Jharbandha, Gulkhedi, Bhairupura Chowk. The age of the little cub is said to be around two months. In the video, he is seen playing pranks with his mother.
