The Indian team has not lost a single match in the tournament yet. He has won four consecutive matches. He first defeated Bangladesh, Pakistan and New Zealand in group stage matches. After this, he defeated Australia on Tuesday in the semi -finals.
Chasing a target of 265 runs in the semi -finals against Australia, Kohli played a tremendous innings of 84 runs. For which he was chosen as ‘Player of the Match’. Apart from this, Iyer played an important innings of 45 and KL Rahul an unbeaten 42 runs.
The Champions Trophy final is to be played on 9 March Sunday. India has already reached the finals. He will face the second semi -final winning team. The second semi -finals are to be played between New Zealand and South Africa on Wednesday.
