On June 6, at 10 am, RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra will give information about the decisions taken in this meeting. There has been a reduction of 0.50% in two meetings held earlier. Due to this, the repo rate has fallen to 6%. MPC consists of 6 members. Of these, 3 are of RBI, while the rest are appointed by the central government.
50% tariff applied on steel and aluminum in America
50% tariff has been implemented in the US from today on imports of steel and aluminum. President Donald Trump has signed the order related to it.
However, he has excluded Britain from this tariff. It will apply only 25% tariffs as before, as talks are already underway between the US and Britain on the trade agreement.
Trump announced on 30 May on 30% on steel and aluminum imports from 25% to 50%.
The market declined yesterday
