On the last day of the week, today i.e. Friday, May 30, the Sensex is trading at 81,500 points by falling around 150 points. The Nifty is also down by 30 points, at the level of 24,800.
Of the 30 shares of the Sensex, 15 are rose and 15 declines. The shares of Adani Ports, Maruti and Sunforma are above 1%. Infosys, Tech Mahindra and HCL Tech shares have a decline of about 2%.
Out of 50 shares of Nifty, 35 are rose and 15 declines. The NSE’s IT, auto and private banking stocks are more declined. At the same time, there is a jump in shares in metal, pharma and public sector banks.
Asian markets declines, American raises slight rise
- In Asian markets, Japan’s Nikkei is trading at 37,885 at around 550 points (1.45%) and Korea’s Kospi is trading at 2,700.
- Hong Kong’s Hangseng index is trading at 350 points (1.50%) to 23,224 and China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 10 points (0.30%) to 3,353.
- On May 29, the US Dow Jones climbed 117 points to 42,216, Nasdaq Composite was up 75 points at 19,176 and S&P 500 also climbed 24 points to close at 5,912.
Domestic investors bought shares worth 4,287 crore on 29 May
- On May 29, Foreign Investors (FIIs) purchased Rs 884 crore in the cash segment and Rs 4,287 crore by domestic investors (DIS).
- So far, foreign investors have purchased Rs 18,223 crore in the cash segment and Rs 58,546 crore in the cash segment.
- Net purchases of foreign investors in April stood at Rs 2,735.02 crore. Domestic investors also purchased a net of ₹ 28,228.45 crore in a month.
Today is the last day of investing in Skoda Tubes in IPO

Today is the last day to invest in the IPO of steel tubes and pipe makers Skoda Tubes Limited. According to BSE data, by 3:12 pm yesterday i.e. on May 29, the company’s IPO was 6.4 times more subscribed.
According to the data, non -institutional investors (NII) in Investor category have subscribed 14.51 times the reserve category for themselves. After this, retail investors bid 5.47 times and qualified institutional buyers (QIB) 1.91 times.

The market was closed yesterday by climbing 321 points
The Sensex climbed 321 points to close at 81,633 on the fourth trading day of the week today i.e. on Thursday, 29 May. The Nifty also rose by 81 points, it closed at 24,834 levels.
Of the 30 shares of the Sensex, 24 rose and 6 declined. IndusInd Bank and Sunforma shares closed up 2.5%. Bajaj Finance, ITC and Bajaj Finserv had a slight decline.
Out of 50 shares of Nifty, 37 rose and 13 declined. IT, metal, auto, realty and pharma index of NSE rose by 1.2%. At the same time, FMCG and banking shares closed down.
