
Serbian parliament: There was an uproar in the Serbian Parliament on Tuesday (March 4) when opposition MPs threw smoke grenade and tear gas shells inside the Parliament. Smoke was filled in Parliament, which made many MPs difficult to breathe and had to be taken out. The incident occurred during the live broadcast of the proceedings of Parliament, showing that black and pink smoke has spread inside.
Opposition MPs were protesting against the policies of the Serbian government and in support of the protesting students. Four months ago, 15 people died due to falling roof of a station, after which the protesting students are accusing the government of corruption. Students claim that this accident is the result of corruption of the government, which has turned the matter into a serious crisis.

Clash and smoke grenade in Parliament
Opposition MPs attended the Parliament session on Tuesday and ran towards the parliamentary president, after which there was a clash with the security guards. Subsequently, smoke grenade and tear gas shells were thrown inside the Parliament. Meanwhile, Speaker Ana Branbik said that two MPs were injured in this clash, one of whom is in critical condition.
Demand for Prime Minister’s resignation
The opposition is demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Milos Wuswik, while the law to increase funds for universities was to be passed in Parliament. This was the main demand of the students, who have blocked the faculties since December. However, other issues involved in the agenda by the ruling coalition angered the opposition, after which this uproar took place.
