
Pakistan, which was still talking about the right to self-defense for Iran and claiming to raise voice in international forums for it, that Pakistan has taken a U-turn. Now the same Pakistan is condemning Iran’s attacks.
Pakistan strongly condemned the Iranian attacks on the US airbase in Qatar on Tuesday (June 24, 2025). Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif met the diplomats of Saudi Arabia and Qatar separately and said that he wished to protect the people of Qatar and the middle East. The Pakistani Foreign Ministry has also issued a press release and expressed displeasure over Iran’s attacks.
According to Pakistani news channel Sama TV, Shahbaz Sharif said after meeting Qatar’s diplomat, “We pray that our Katri siblings and the entire middle east should be safe.” Shahbaz Sharif reiterated that Pakistan has always supported establishing peace in the Middle East and the solution of all issues through dialogue and diplomacy.
The Pak Foreign Ministry also condemned Iran’s attacks. The ministry was posted on the social media platform X, which wrote, ‘Pakistan Qatar strongly condemned the attack on the US Air Force’s Udid airbase and as a result, he is concerned about the serious security conditions arising in the area.’
The Pak Foreign Ministry further wrote, ‘We strongly condemn the recent incident of violation of the theory of regional integrity and theory of respect for all countries. We urge all parties to follow the fundamental rights of international law and be restrained.
The Pak Foreign Ministry said that Pakistan repeats its call to resolve all issues through dialogue and diplomacy and urges that immediate steps should be taken to reduce the struggle.
The US attacked Iran’s nuclear sites on Sunday (June 22, 2025), including Fordo, Natanj and Isfahan. After this, Iran spoke of taking revenge and on Monday, the US airbase attacked the American airbase, after which tension increased throughout the middle East and which Pakistan was still talking about raising voice for Iran’s rights, immediately took a U-turn.
US President Donald Trump says that there is no loss in Iran’s attacks. However, on Tuesday, he posted on social media and claimed that by talking to Iran and Israel, he has got ceasefire. Iran has also confirmed the ceasefire.
