

Shreyas iyer: This was a special moment for Net bowler Jaskiran Singh on the ICC Cricket Academy when India’s top order batsman Shreyas Iyer presented him a pair of shoes during the Champions Trophy practice session.
Chartered accountant by profession and fond of cricket Jaskiran was fielding on Langaf when Iyer went to him and said, “Paaji kya hai hai, sab hikiya.” Jaskiran said to PTI video, “Shreyas bhai came to me and asked what your shoe is. I said that ten, he said that I have something for you and they gave me these shoes. It matters a lot to me. ”
Jaskiran bowled the batsmen of Pakistan and Bangladesh during net practice. He was disappointed at not being selected for the NET practice of the Indian team as many off -spinners were already for the practice of the Indian team.
His disappointment, however, turned into happiness when Shreyas gave him this gift, knowing him sad. Jaskiran said, “I am part of the ICC Net bowling team for the Champions Trophy. Today was a special moment of my life when Shreyas Iyer gave me these shoes. I fielded for India in this tournament but was waiting for a chance to bowl. I bowled Pakistan and Bangladesh which was a very good experience. ”
Shreyas scored a half -century against Pakistan. India won that match by six wickets and made it to the semi -finals. Jaskiran said that he wants to bowl Rishabh Pant who is a Khabu batsman. He said, “Every batsman of Team India is special but I like Rishabh Pant because he is a left -handed batsman and it will be interesting to bowl him.”
