Talking to the news agency PTI, Sourav Ganguly said, “I missed a century many times, I should have made more centuries. I was dismissed after scoring 80 and 90 runs many times.” If you look at Ganguly’s career, then he was dismissed for 30 times after crossing the 80 -run mark. If Ganguly could have completed a century in half of the innings, he would have easily crossed the figure of 50 international centuries. He has also been dismissed for 2 times in Test matches.
Sourav Ganguly also said that when he is alone, he likes to go to YouTube and broadcast the old innings again. He said, “I go to YouTube and say to myself, ‘Hey, he is out again on 70.’ I should have completed a century then, but now history cannot be changed. ” Ganguly has expressed this pain after 17 years of retirement in 2008.
Sourav Ganguly scored 38 centuries
Sourav Ganguly scored a total of 22 centuries in his 311 matches historical career. He also has 72 half -centuries in ODIs, showing the figure that Ganguly’s conversion rate in ODIs was very poor. At the same time, 16 centuries and 35 half-century were also scored in the career of 113 Test matches.
