SA vs PAK 2nd Test Match Report: South Africa has defeated Pakistan by 10 wickets in the second test played in Cape Town. With this, Africa has captured the Test series 2-0. Africa had a target of 58 runs in the fourth innings of the second test, which it achieved without losing any wicket. The Pakistan team definitely struggled in the second innings, but the entire innings was limited to 421 runs, due to which it failed to give a big target to South Africa.
South Africa had scored a huge score of 615 runs in the first innings. Ryan Rickelton played a brilliant inning of 259 runs and apart from him, captain Temba Bavuma (106 runs) and Kyle Verrein (100) scored centuries. In response, Pakistan’s first innings was all out for just 194 runs. Pakistan was forced to follow on and got a good start in the second innings. In the second innings, there was a big partnership of 205 runs between Shan Masood and Babar Azam. Babar Azam scored 81 runs and Shan Masood scored 145 runs.
Sam Ayyub was injured on the first day of the second test, due to which he could not bat in the second test. Apart from Babar Azam and Shan Masood, there was no batsman who could touch the 50-run mark in the second innings. Mohammad Rizwan scored 41 runs and Salman Agha scored 48 runs.
South Africa had already reached the WTC final
South Africa had entered the final by defeating Pakistan in the first test. Recall that Africa had won the first test by 2 wickets. Now Africa has strengthened its position in the points table even more than before. Africa will play the final against Australia in June this year.
