South Korea Bridge Collapse: On Tuesday (February 25) in South Korea, a part of the bridge collapsed at an expressway construction site, killing two people and injuring five others. During this incident, a huge cloud of smoke was seen rising in the air in Aseseong. Local media has posted footage of the bridge collapse on social media.
According to the National Fire Fire Agency, four people were seriously injured, while one person suffered minor injuries. The officials have continued searching for three people trapped in the debris so far.

Rescue operations continue
The injured have been sent to nearest hospitals, and acting President Choi Song-Mok has ordered immediately to raise all available resources and personnel to complete the rescue operations as soon as possible. Place and time of event
The accident occurred at about 65 km south of Seoul at around 9:50 am in Aseseong. According to local officials and Ministry of Labor, more than 8,000 deaths have occurred in such incidents from 2020 to 2023.
