UK Crime News: Last July, a heart-wrenching incident came to light in a Taylor Swift themed yoga and dance workshop held in Southport, England. During this workshop, 18-year-old Axel Rudakubana used a knife. Attacked and brutally murdered three schoolgirls. In this case, Liverpool Crown Court gave its verdict on Thursday (January 23) and sentenced him to life imprisonment. The court ordered that Rudakubana must spend a minimum of 52 years in prison before being considered for parole.

In this heinous incident, not only three girl students but many other people also became victims of the attack. Axel Rudakubana also fatally attacked yoga instructor Leanne Lucas, businessman John Hayes and eight children aged between 7 and 13 at Heart Space in Southport. The entire Southport community was shocked by this attack. The accused committed this crime when he was only 17 years old.

The judge gave strict punishment

Passing sentence at Liverpool Crown Court, Justice Julian Goose said that if the accused had been 18 years old at the time of the crime he would have been sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison. he said "I think it is very unlikely that Rudakubana will ever be released. He will probably spend his entire life in custody." The judge called it a serious threat to the society and called for strict punishment.
