Srh hca dispute: Sunrisers Hyderabad team recently accused the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA). The SRH franchise said that since 2024, the sale of tickets at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium is being taken wrong. In particular, HCA President Jagan Mohan Rao was targeted that SRH is being blackmailed for the sale of tickets. In such a situation, the Hyderabad team threatened to change its home ground. Now a new update has come out in this matter.
According to the Times of India, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Hyderabad Cricket Association have reduced their distances. It is reported that HCA is ready to cooperate with Sunrisers Hyderabad Management in every way. There was a meeting between the two sides, after which the matter has been resolved. It was claimed that HCA and SRH are committed to working together.
What is the whole matter?
Last Sunday, a letter was written by the SRH team to the Treasurer of HCA, in which the Hyderabad Cricket Association was alerted that if it does not change the IPL tickets, then a complaint would be made to BCCI. Actually this case is related to the VIP box at SRH’s home ground. According to the deal between Hyderabad team and HCA, 3,900 seats are provided in the ground for the beneficiaries. The case caught fire when the officials of Hyderabad Cricket Association tried to assert their rights on other VIP box seats. Talking about the performance of Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2025, it has so far registered only one win in 3 matches and the team is currently in eighth place in the points table.
