Sri Lanka’s victory in ODI series
A three -match ODI series was played between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The first two matches of this series were played in Sri Lanka’s capital Colombo. At the same time, the last match took place in the suburb of Pallekele. In the first ODI, Sri Lanka defeated Bangladesh by 77 runs and took a 1-0 lead in the series. In the second ODI, Bangladesh defeated Sri Lanka by 16 runs and equaled 1-1 in the series. Now both teams were required to win the third ODI to win the series.
In the last ODI, the host team Sri Lanka won and defeated Bangladesh by 99 runs. With this victory, Sri Lanka also won the series 2–1. In this series, Sri Lankan star bowler Hasranga took 2 wickets in the first match, 3 wickets in the second match and 2 wickets in the last match. In this way Hasranga took a total of seven wickets in Bangladesh in the ODI series.
