The country has recently witnessed the success of religious conference like Mahakumbh in Prayagraj after 144 years. Another Mahakumbh is going to be held in India growing on the path of rapid progress. This Mahakumbh will have a meeting of people associated with the country’s startup ecosystem – “Startup Mahakumbh 2025.”
As the world’s largest innovation showcase, the biggest and grand event of the country’s startup ecosystem will be held in Delhi from April 3 to 5. After the unprecedented success of the previous version, the Startup Mahakumbh has returned to even a even bigger, bold and more influential avatar.
The historic event to be held in Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi from April 3 to 5, 2025, ‘Startup India @ 2047: Unfolding the Bharat Story’ is ready to shape the future of India’s Startup Ecosystem.
Theme based on India’s startup ecosystem and vision theme
This year the theme of the Startup Mahakumbh will focus on the journey and approach to India’s Startup Ecosystem over the next two decades. As the country’s ambitious goal is to shape a self -reliant and new and developed India by 2047. This time the startup Mahakumbh will have a special focus on those policies, people and partnerships that will help the country to change the innovation and entrepreneurship as a global leader.
Earlier a larger event
The Startup Mahakumbh will include 3,000 startups, more than 1,000 investors and incubators, more than 10,000 representatives from more than 50 countries and more than 50 thousand business visitors. All these will create a strong platform to shape the future of Entrepreneural Ecosystem of India. In the curated program, AI, Dippatak and Cyber Security, Healthtech and Biotech, Agritech, Climate Tech, Incubator and Accelerator, D2C, Fintech, Gaming and Sports, B2B and Principal Manufacturing, Defense and Space Tech and Space Tech and Space Tech and Mobility will be displayed.
Each pavilion will host global showcase and sector based exhibition, conference session, master class, pitching opportunities, roundateable conferences etc. for startups. This Mahakumbh includes different theme-based exhibitions, attractive panels, masterclass, fireclasses, pitching sessions and more.
An exciting attraction of the event is Startup Maharathi Challenge, which is an effective platform designed to recognize and speed up the startup from the earliest to the development stage of India. This year’s theme will focus on India’s startup ecosystem travel and vision in the next two decades, aiming to shape an self -reliant and innovative and developed India by 2047.

This huge and ambitious event is led by the country’s leading startup ecosystem leaders. FICCI for the event is cooperated by Assocham, IVCA, NASSCOM, Bootstrap Foundation and other major organizations. It has a lot of support from DPIIT and Startup India.

Startup Mahakumbh’s Future Principal Program has been designed to inspire and empower students innovators and entrepreneurs across the country. Open for colleges across the country, 100 top colleges have been invited to this competition, each of which will be represented by 10 students innovators.
These students will display the AI-operated solutions for local challenges at the innovators startup Mahakumbh. The top 10 colleges will compete in the final. These people will compete in front of investors, policy makers and advisors for prize pool of ₹ 1 crore. The winners will get mentorship, funding opportunities and national recognition.
