The stock market increased on the second trading day of the week today i.e. on Tuesday, April 22. The Sensex climbed 187 points to close at 79,596. The Nifty rose by 42 points, closed at 24,167.
Sensex was in 14 of 30 shares. ITC, HUL, M&M, HDFC climbed by 2.50% in bank and zomato. IndusInd Bank shares fell 4.73%. At the same time, shares of Power Grid, Airtel, Infosys, Bajaj Finserv and Adani Ports declined by 2.3%.
31 out of 50 shares of Nifty closed and closed. However, the NSE sectoral indices rose 2.42%in realty, 1.89%in FMCG, 1.50%in consumer durables, 0.80%in Nifty Healthcare and 0.75%in government bank.
US market declines, mixed business in Asian
- On April 21, the US Dow Jones 972 points (2.48%), Nasdaq Composite 416 points (2.55%) and S&P 500 index fell 125 points (2.36%).
- The Asian markets led to a slight decline in Nikkei of Japan and Korean’s Kospi. China’s Shanghai Composite closed at 3300 above 0.25%. Hong Kong’s Hangseng index climbed 0.78% to close at 21,562.
- On April 21, Foreign Investors (FIIs) bought a net shares of Rs 1,970.17 crore and Indian domestic investors (DIS) Rs 246.59 crore.
Yesterday the market was 855 points
On the first trading day of the week today i.e. on Monday, April 21, the Sensex is trading more than 900 points to 79,450. At the same time, the Nifty also has a gain of about 300 points, it is at the level of 24,150.
Bank Nifty has reached new record high. It has climbed 1000 points to cross 55,000. Apart from banking, IT and metal shares also increase today. IndusInd Bank and Tech Mahindra have a gain of over 4%.
