The fourth business day of the week is a flat in the stock market today i.e. on Thursday, 8 May. The Sensex is trading at 80,700 levels by falling around 30 points. The Nifty also has a decline of 20 points, trading at 24,400.
The Sensex has a rise in 18 out of 30 shares. Tata Motors shares have again climbed 3.15% today. Power Grid, Kotak Bank and Axis Bank shares are up to 1.5%. Jomato and ITC have a decline of up to 1.4%.
At the same time, 31 out of 50 shares of Nifty are declining. Realty Pharma Metal FMCG and Healthcare sector fall by 1%. Auto IT media and banking sector are trading above 1%.
Global market gains, US markets climbed after two days
- In Asian markets, Japan’s Nikkei is trading at 36,863 levels with a gain of 83 points (0.23%). Korea, Korea, has a rise of 0.46% at 2,586.
- Hong Kong’s Hangseng index is trading at 22,938.54 by climbing 247 points (1.09%). At the same time, 26 points (0.80%) climbed to 3,343 in China’s Shanghai Composite

- On May 7, the US Dow Jones climbed 285 points (0.70%) to 41,114, Nasdaq Composite climbed 48 points (0.27%) to 17,738 and the S&P 500 index climbed 0.43%.
Foreign investors bought shares of ₹ 9,648 crore yesterday
- Foreign investors (FIIs) are going on in the Indian market. Tomorrow i.e. May 7, foreign investors bought shares worth Rs 9,647.98 crore. At the same time, domestic investors purchased Rs 7,059.96 crore during this period.
- Net purchases of foreign investors in April stood at Rs 2,735.02 crore. Domestic investors also purchased a net of Rs 28,228.45 crore in a month.
Yesterday the stock market was boom
The impact of the air strike within Pakistan and POK was not seen on the stock market late on Tuesday night. On Wednesday, May 7, the Sensex climbed 106 points to close at 80,747 levels. The Nifty also rose by 35 points. It closed at 24,414 levels.
Of the 30 shares of the Sensex, 17 saw a rise in 17. Tata Motors shares climbed 5.20%. A total of 8 shares, including Bajaj Finance, Jomato, Adani Ports, climbed up to 2% by climbing 2%. Whereas, Asian Paints fell by 4%. Sunforma, ITC, 2% Nestle and Reliance declined by 2%.
At the same time, 26 out of 50 shares of Nifty declined. NSE sectoral indices rose by 1.66% in auto, 1.12% in realty, 1.06% in media and 1.18% in consumer durables. At the same time, there is a slight decline in FMCG and Pharma.
