BJP on mps remark on judiciary: On the ongoing hearing in the Supreme Court regarding the Waqf law, a political struggle has been sparked on the statement of BJP MPs. Opposition has become an attacker on the comments of Nishikant Dubey and Dinesh Sharma. Meanwhile, the reaction of the Bharatiya Janata Party has also come out on the dispute. The BJP separated themselves from the statements of their MPs. JP Nadda said that the party has nothing to do with his statements.
The hearing is going on in the Supreme Court regarding the Waqf law. Meanwhile, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey recently gave a big statement that the Supreme Court is responsible for inciting religious war in the country. The Supreme Court is going out of its limits. Dinesh Sharma also made similar remarks.
BJP does not agree with such statements- JP Nadda
Amidst the uproar over the statement of MPs, BJP President JP Nadda said that this is his personal statement. He posted on X and said, “BJP MPs Nishikant Dubey and Dinesh Sharma have nothing to do with the Bharatiya Janata Party’s statement on the judiciary and the Chief Justice of the country. This is their personal statement, but the BJP neither keeps any coincidence nor supports such statements. BJP does not support such statements.
He said, “The Bharatiya Janata Party has always respected the judiciary. His orders and suggestions are gladly accepted because as a party we believe that all the courts of the country including the Supreme Court are an integral part of our democracy and a strong foundation for the protection of the Constitution. I have directed both of them and all not to make such statements.”
What did Nishikant Dubey say…?
Earlier, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey had said, “The Supreme Court is responsible for inciting religious war in the country. The Supreme Court is going out of its border … If you have to go to the Supreme Court for everything, then Parliament and Assembly has no meaning, it should be closed. The Supreme Court has the same objective: ‘I will show me the face, I will show you the law.”
He said, “How can you instruct the Opporting Authority? The President appoints the Chief Justice of India. Parliament makes this country law. How do you enact a new law? In which law it is written that the President has to decide within three months? It means that you want to take this country to anarchy. When Parliament is sitting, it will be a detailed discussion.”
Nishikant Dubey also said that Article 377 in which homosexuality was considered a very big crime. One morning, the Supreme Court said that we end the case.
Dinesh Sharma said- no challenge can be given to the President
Making a similar comment, BJP MP Dinesh Sharma said that no one can “challenge” the President’s decision, as he is “supreme”. He said that there is a possibility of people that when Dr. BR Ambedkar wrote the constitution, the rights of the legislature and the judiciary were clearly written. According to the Constitution of India, no one can instruct the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. The President has already given his consent on this. No one can challenge the President, as the President is the highest. “
This statement of BJP MPs staged a political uproar. All the opposition parties, including the Congress, started besieging the BJP to question the Supreme Court. Meanwhile, the BJP separated itself from the statement of its MPs.
