Abdul Rehman resigns AAP: Aam Aadmi Party has suffered a big setback before the Delhi Assembly elections. Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Seelampur, Delhi, Abdul Rehman has resigned from the party, accusing Arvind Kejriwal of ignoring Muslims. AAP MLA has also written a letter against Arvind Kejriwal and made many allegations.
Abdul Rehman has written in the letter to Arvind Kejriwal, “I, Abdul Rehman, MLA, Seelampur Assembly, today with a heavy heart, I am taking the decision to resign from the membership of Aam Aadmi Party and from the party. This decision was not easy for me, But after seeing the way Muslims and other deprived communities have been neglected in the party’s leadership and policies, it became my moral duty.”
Abdul Rehman accused AAP of indifference towards Muslims
Only the results of the elections will tell how the resignation of a Muslim MLA from the party before the elections will prove to be harmful for the Aam Aadmi Party, but the resignation of the MLAs from the party before the elections is not a good sign.
