Dassault Aviation is a French company that works in the field of defense and aerospace.
The French company Dassault Aviation and India’s Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) together have announced to create the main body (fusation) of Rafale Fighter Jet in Hyderabad. This will be the first time Rafael’s main body will be built outside France.
Rafael’s first fusalaj unit will come out of the assembly line in 2028. This plant is expected to prepare two full fusals every month. This partnership of Tata and Dassault will increase the participation of private companies in India’s defense sector.
India’s ability to make defense equipment will increase
Dassault reported that this project is a major step of defense cooperation between India and France. This will increase the ability to make defense equipment in India and local engineers will get a chance to learn world class technology.
Tata already makes Rafael’s parts
The Tata Group already creates parts of planes like Rafael and Mirage 2000 in collaboration with Dassault. CEO Sukaran Singh of Tata Advanced Systems said, “This partnership is a big step in India’s journey to build airplanes.
Rafael’s entire main body in India shows how much confidence is increasing in the ability of Tata Advanced Systems and how strong our relationship with Dassault Aviation is.
This is also evidence that India has made tremendous progress in creating a modern and strong aerospace manufacturing system, which can support the world’s big platforms. ”
What is aircraft fuslas?

In the airliner, pilots sit in the cockpit at the forefront of fuslas. Passengers and luggage are in the back of the fuslas, and the fuel is stored in the wings.

It is headquartered in Mumbai. Tasl makes parts of aircraft, helicopters, drones, missile systems and defense equipment. It has a partnership with global companies such as Sikorski, Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Dassault Aviation.
