Team India Full Squad Announced: India has announced the team for the T20 series against England from January 22. Team India will play under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav. Veteran bowler Mohammed Shami has returned. Shami will be seen playing against England. Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Verma and Varun Chakraborty have also got a place in Team India. Akshar Patel has been made the vice-captain. Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh are also part of Team India.
A five-match T20 series will be played between India and England. The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the team only for T20 on Saturday night. The team for the ODI series and Champions Trophy will be announced later. Shami was out of Team India for a long time. But now he has returned. Shami was away from cricket since the injury. But he has performed well in domestic matches recently. Now have joined Team India.
Spinner Varun Chakraborty and Bishnoi got place in Team India –
India has given a chance to lethal spinners Varun Chakraborty and Ravi Bishnoi. Washington Sundar is also a part of Team India. Rinku Singh, Tilak Verma and Harshit Rana have also got place.
Shubman-Pant and Yashasvi out of the team –
BCCI has given break to Shubhman Gill and Rishabh Pant. Both these players are not part of the T20 team. But can make a place in Team India for ODI and Champions Trophy 2025. But official information regarding this has not been received. Yashasvi Jaiswal is also not a part of T20 Team India.
