- Prasanna is married for 10 years. He studied at NIT Trichy, where he met his wife Divya. He has a 9 -year -old son. Recently, when Prasanna came to know that his wife was having an affair with a person named Anoop, the marriage broke up.
- Later, Divya lodged false complaints of domestic violence and rape. Divya also alleged that Prasanna published her nude video. Singapore police investigated these allegations, found them baseless and freed from all the allegations.
- Prasanna applied for divorce in India. At the same time, Divya applied in America. Prasanna also alleged that his wife “kidnapped” his nine -year -old son and took him to America, due to which he had to register a case of international child kidnapping. The US court ruled in favor of Prasanna and asked to hand over the son.
- Since Divya violated the law in Singapore, she signed a memorandum with Prasanna. It was decided that Prasanna would pay about 9 crore and 4.3 lakh/months to his wife. There was also talk of settling to Chennai.
- Prasanna booked flight tickets to send his wife and son back to Chennai. As a part of the MoU, both agreed to their son’s 50/50 custody. It was followed for a few days. Divya was also supposed to submit the child’s passport in a common locker, but she refused to do so.
- Divya then started claiming that the MoU is not valid and she will go to America again for divorce. Concerned, Prasanna knocked on the door of the court and said that he will not return the child until Divya submits the child’s passport in the locker.
- Divya called the police and lodged a complaint of kidnapping against Prasanna. The police knocked on the door at midnight, after which he managed to escape with his son. Soon after, Prasanna told the police through his lawyers that the child was voluntarily assigned and the child is happy with him. It also said that this case is in court. Therefore, the police should not intervene.
- Even after this, the police was trying to find Prasanna. The police attacked his mother’s house and asked him to find him. The police is also harassing his friend Gokul. Gokul went to Bangalore due to fear and told the police that it was a case between husband and wife. Instead, the police caught him in Bangalore itself. Without any warrant or papers or local Bangalore police, he was taken to Chennai.
- For the last 3 days, he has been in custody without any FIR. They are telling him that if Prasanna does not surrender, he will be harassed. They did not present it to the magistrate. Instead, they call him the police station every morning and sit till night and then leave.

Divya said, “I don’t know what happened to my son, and that’s why I lodged a police complaint.” Divya claimed that Shankar had stolen her son’s passport. He said that the Chennai police is trying to help him get his son back.
Divya also accused Shankar of secretly recording women. He said that the Singapore police had also arrested Shankar once in the case of sexual harassment and prostitution. For this reason, he was also removed from the company.
