Under Rajasthan Education Service rules, grade second teachers are promoted to lecturers within the prescribed limit on the posts falling vacant every year. In such a situation, on the basis of vacant posts for the year 2021-22 and 2022-23, ten thousand 515 grade second teachers from across the state have got promotion to the post of lecturer. These lecturers have been considered selected from April 1, 2021. In such a situation, along with the salary increase, arrear payment for the last four years will also be given. The names of those grade second teachers who have been selected since the year 1989 have also appeared in this list. Most of the selected teachers of the year 2008-09 have got promotion.
The Director of Education has also promoted 109 teachers who retired before the selection date. The envelopes of such teachers have been kept sealed and the decision regarding this will come later. Actually, a retired person gets promotion from the date of selection but will get the benefit only when his record is clean. Since he is not going to be posted, his envelope has been kept closed for the time being.
Now subject teachers have reduced
With the issuance of promotion orders in the education department, on one hand schools get more teachers and on the other hand their teachers become less. Now after such a large number of promotions, there will be a shortage of grade second teachers in the state. Due to the simultaneous shortage of ten thousand five hundred grade second teachers, the posts of upper primary school headmasters for teachers teaching subjects from ninth to tenth will become vacant.
