Judicial Magistrate Court No. 2 of Sikar has acquitted an accused in the case of bus theft. The bus owner had accused the conductor of stealing the bus parked outside Dharamkanta 8 years ago. After which the police investigated and presented the challan in the court.

Giving information, the accused’s advocate Suresh Kumawat said – On June 25, 2016, complainant Banwari Lal had given the report at Ranoli Police Station that he had a dhaba near Lakshmi Dharam Kante in Palsana. One of his private buses is parked outside the dhaba which runs on booking only. Whenever a booking comes, he takes the bus and comes back and parks the bus near the dhaba.
The bus was standing near the hotel at 10 pm on 25th June. During this time, the conductor working in the bus, Godhu alias Govardhan, resident of Mahwa (Neemkathana), absconded with the bus without his permission. The conductor was searched at many places but no trace of him was found anywhere. After which the police registered a case on the report of the bus owner and started investigation.
After which the police arrested the accused and presented the challan in the court. Advocate Suresh Kumawat appeared in the court on behalf of the accused. Advocate argued and gave arguments. The advocate told the judge that his client was innocent and was being falsely implicated. After hearing the arguments, the judge acquitted the accused in this case on the basis of witnesses, statements and evidence.
