The dead body of a young man was found in a suspicious condition in a house in Paikon Ka Bass area located at Kabootar Ka Chowk in the inner city. This created a stir in the area. The incident occurred around 1 pm on Monday afternoon. As soon as the information was received, Sadar Bazar police station reached the spot and entered the house by breaking the mesh.

Police called the FSL team to the spot and collected evidence. The body was kept in MGH mortuary. The family reached Jodhpur, the body will be handed over to the family after post-mortem.
Police station in-charge Govind Singh said that the dead body of a young man living on rent in a house in front of Bissa College in Paikon Ka Bass located at Kabootar Ka Chowk was found under suspicious circumstances.
He was identified as Rakesh Soni, resident of Merta City. He used to work at a jewelery shop in Ghodo Ka Chowk, and was found lying down near the gate of the house. As soon as the information was received, the family members of the deceased reached Jodhpur in the evening. He identified the body. The police will conduct post-mortem of the body on Tuesday. The cause of death will be known only after its report.
The employee called but did not receive even once
Police station in-charge Govind Singh said that the deceased used to work at a jewelery shop located at Ghodo Ka Chowk. When he did not reach the shop till noon, the operator sent his employee to call him. The gate of the house was closed from inside. The employee made calls, but he did not answer even a single call. Local people informed the police about this.
