Niket Srinivas Dalal, who has become an inspiration for India’s first blind ironman and millions, is a big shock for the whole country. On the morning of 1 July, his body was found in the parking lot of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Investigation has revealed that he fell from the second floor of the hotel. This incident was so serious that he died on the spot.
How did the accident happen?
Whatever happened to Niket is very unfortunate. On the night of 30 June, there was a sudden fire in his house, due to which his friends took him out of the house and kept him in mind of his safety and stopped him at a hotel at around 2:30 pm. Nobody had an idea that this would prove to be their last night.
Around 8 am, hotel staff found Niket’s body in parking. Till now it is being considered an accident. However, a wave of mourning has spread throughout the city, as Niket was not just a name but he was a hope. At present, the police is investigating this entire accident.

Niket broker had shown what many people are unable to do with their eyes. In the year 2020, he completed the Ironman 70.3 Triathlon. This includes 1.9 km of swimming, 90 km cycle race and 21.1 km race. He became not only the first of India, but also in the world’s fifth blind athlete who did this feat.
Niket lost his eyesight in 2015, when the disease named Glaucoma was completely blinded, but he did not give up. He was a speech therapist by profession and was deeply interested in sports. He also won three medals in national level swimming competitions.
