Indian Fan Wave Sandpaper At Adelaide: An Indian fan refreshed Australia’s old wounds by showing ‘sandpaper’ in the air on the Adelaide ground. Australia’s ‘sandpaper controversy’ is quite famous. In 2018, Steve Smith, David Warner and Cameron Bancroft were embroiled in the sandpaper controversy when the Australia team was on the South Africa tour. The fan reminded Australia of their heinous act by showing sandpaper.
Indian fan showed sandpaper during the Pink Ball Test played between India and Australia in Adelaide, the video of which is going viral on social media. It can be seen in the video that the security guards forcefully remove the fan who showed sandpaper from the field. Even when the security personnel take the fan out, the Indian fan raises the sandpaper in the air. After this the fan is thrown out of the stadium.

What’s the whole sandpaper controversy?
About 6 years ago, i.e. in 2018, Australia’s Steve Smith, David Warner and Cameron Bancroft were banned. Cameron Bancroft was seen tampering with the ball by using sandpaper during the South Africa tour. Then after some time it was revealed that David Warner and Steve Smith had complete information about the Bancroft scandal. After this incident, Bancroft was suspended for 9 months. Whereas David Warner and Steve Smith were banned for 1 year each.
India lost by 10 wickets in Adelaide
Let us tell you that in the Pink Ball Test played in Adelaide, Team India had to face defeat by 10 wickets. Team India appeared in very bad condition in the match. Indian batsmen appeared to be a complete flop.
